Slasher Horror Film ENGINE TROUBLE Gets Re Released Worldwide via SGL Entertainment

SGL Entertainment is pleased to announce that they have just re released ENGINE TROUBLE a Slasher Horror Film that was originally released on DVD through Lionsgate Pictures as well as on Showtime Cable Television. The Film was previously released under the name “Junior” in standard definition, but is now available for the first time in high definition widescreen, with a beautiful new edit.

Directed by Marc Ickx and Produced by Johan Vandewoestijne aka James Desert. Starring Cecilia Bergqvist, Bob Dougherty, Marcel Romeijn, Marlene Simons, Christa De Vries, Corine Boon, Arlette Adriani, Ron Smoorenburg, Karin Van Duuren and Sharon Gosler.

SYNOPSIS: When Sandra and Rebecca borrow a car for a weekend adventure, the girls decide to go for a car trip to the country for sun, fun and relaxation! However, when they take a shortcut that lands them smack dab in the middle of nowhere and their car breaks down, an adventure begins that may be the very last one they take. When a tow truck happens by the stranded car, but what seems like a god-send quickly turns into a nightmare. The “good” people at the gas station act oddly, hiding something that the girls could not have ever imagined.

SGL Entertainment Launch Their New Classic Horror Movie Channel on IndieFlix

SGL Entertainment is pleased to announce that it has officially launched it’s new studio channel on IndieFlix. “This is a big step forward for our company” quotes Damien Dante CEO of SGL Entertainment. IndieFlix was founded in 2005 and is known for their high quality award winning Independent features, documentary’s and short films. IndieFlix has spent a lot of time carefully curating films and channels to make discovering great independent films as simple and engaging as possible. Their tag line is “Bring the Festival Home”. IndieFlix is available as a subscription service and can be watched on your smart phone, tablet and TV via the Web, X-box and Roku.

Ashley McEneny Film Acquisitions for IndieFlix was interested in SGL Entertainments Classic Horror Film Collection, and has been working with Jeffrey A. Swanson President of SGL Entertainment to set up their new channel. Some of the Films included in the deal are Attack of the Giant Leeches, Teenage Zombies, The Killer Shrews and George Romero’s Classic 1968 Zombie Film THE NIGHT of the LIVING DEAD in Full HD. SGL Entertainment Releases the Cult Classic Horror Film “Hellweek” to a New Audience

SGL Entertainment has just inked a deal to Re Release the Cult Classic Horror Film “Hellweek”. Eddie Lengyel’s twisted tale of horror “Hellweek” has made quite a name for itself. You may have seen the movie on Netflix, or picked up the DVD at Best Buy or Blockbuster Video. But there’s a whole new world of horror fans that may not have had the chance to be infected by this disturbing cult classic masterpiece. So, SGL Entertainment is looking to re release “Hellweek” to the ever growing digital marketplace. SGL Entertainment has had quite the success releasing films on platforms such as iTunes, Google Play, Amazon Prime, Big Star TV, iReel and many other platforms. “Horror films do very well in these markets, and Hellweek is primed for success.” quotes SGL Entertainment President Jeffrey A. Swanson. Hellweek is the tale of “Hazing Gone Bad”. Rush week turns unexpectedly hellish when a band of sadistic, masked, homicidal maniacs holed up in an abandoned warehouse wreak havoc on a bunch of not-so-innocent college kids. Wanting to ensure the new pledges prove they’re worthy, fraternity president J.J. sends them to a deserted warehouse rumored to be inhabited by demonic squatters. But the hazing takes on a sadistic tone when the tales turn out to be true. Now the pledges find themselves in a fight for their lives. Written, Directed and Produced by Eddie Lengyel, this gory spine-chiller stars Robyn Griggs, Brenna Lee Roth, Karen Fox, Rob Jaeger and Michael Reddy.

SGL Entertainment partners Damien Dante and Jeffrey A. Swanson are looking to unleash this classic tale of horror and gore with not only one, but two versions of the film. The original “Unrated” version and the “Grindhouse” Version. Look for “Hellweek” to be Available Everywhere around Halloween 2013.
