SGL Entertainment is Looking to the future of independent movie and film distribution with the latest digital platforms. “We are looking ahead” says SGL Entertainment President Jeffrey A. We launched a few of our films on Google Play while they were just getting started and we had a lot of success with them. One of our films “Jezebeth” is now featured on Rhovit which is still in Beta.

And looking down the road, many of our movies will be featured on the Futuristic M-GO Movies On Demand Service. The M-GO button will be located on the remote control for many of the new TV’s as a built in feature. SGL Entertainment Secures DVD, Cable TV Deal For “THE HOSTILE TAKEOVER”

SGL Entertainment has partnered up with R-Squared Films and have signed a deal to release what could be one of the funniest, over the top independent films of the decade “The Hostile Takeover”. The Film was Written and produced by J Davis and directed by Johnny Coughlin and was filmed in the Chicagoland area. The movie will be released later this year on Comcast Cable plus other Television Networks, and will also be available in the US and Canada on DVD via R-Squared Films. The Hostile Takeover is a tale of how an average pizza delivery guy named Jay gets caught in the middle of the largest territorial war in the city of Chicago’s history. As Jay avoids being killed by both sides in this brutal war, he must also prove his innocence to a trigger happy detective who believes he is the catalyst to it all. This hysterical urban comedy was inspired by the J Davis web series called “The MisAdventures of J Davis” which is available to watch on YouTube.

Jezebeth R-Rated Trailer Leaked To The Public

According to Mrs. Tamera Rayne an SGL Entertainment spokesperson, Director Damien Dante and Co-Producer Jeffrey A Swanson, partners and creators of the vampire movie franchise “Jezebeth” were unavailable for comment after it was discovered that a never before released trailer featuring Bree Michaels and containing scenes of “Nudity” from the feature film Jezebeth (2011) R Squared Films, surfaced on the web site Vimeo. Mrs. Rayne would only say that an internal investigation is under way headed by Dante and Swanson. An unidentified source indicated that Mr. Dante had recently fired a disgruntled production crew member on the Set of Jezebeth 2 Hour of the Gun, and may have been the source of the leak.

Filmmakers Damien Dante and Jeffrey A Swanson, the creators and producers of the Jezebeth Film Franchise have assembled their dream production team. With the success of their first full length cult classic vampire horror film Jezebeth, and a second film Jezebeth 2 Hour of the Gun in post production, the two business entrepreneurs began searching for their film editor. After a long search and with the help of some industry friends, the filmmakers signed on David OBrient Jr. from Texas. David is best known for editing: Lady Girl, Bad Sister, The Back Up, Jump Out, Junie’s Leverage, Chiaroscuro and others. Film Director Damien Dante has been working very close with David and his company C & G Productions, and the film edit is really coming together. Then just by fate, Damien and Jeffrey had meet William Shary on the set of Jezebeth 2, it was the final shoot, the vampire bar scene, and William was one of the extras. William had been a facebook friend for quite a while and mentioned that he and his partner Scott Caputo had a pro recording studio called Studio 32. After researching dozens of Chicago based studios we decided to have a meeting with William and Scott. Studio 32 was just what we were looking for., with a full size drop down projection screen, sound rooms and a large selection of sound effects. Also, William Shary is a seasoned drummer, while Scott Caputo is a keyboard player and an orchestrator, both are music producers and both have officially signed on to the team.

With the movie Jezebeth 2 Hour of the Gun more than half edited, it won’t be long before we begin our ADR, Score, Sound Effects and Foley. And, as always the movie Jezebeth 2 will be loaded with great music from the Dark Star Records music label. With Damien Dante as Director, Writer, Producer and Jeffrey A Swanson as Cinematographer, Music Supervisor and Co Producer along with David OBrient Jr., the Editor, plus William Shary and Scott Caputo on Sound Production, it looks as though we now have our Dream Team. Look for Jezebeth 2 Hour of the Gun in the Fall of 2013 and Jezebeth 3 Hell’s Desperatos in 2014.
